NEW YORK August 4, 2026 – IA Global Capital (“IAGC”), a New York and London-based, technology-focused investment bank, today announced that Derrick Raymond has joined the firm as Senior Advisor.

Mr. Raymond is one of the longest-serving and most respected corporate development executives in the IT and professional services sector. He spent 18 years at KPMG – including as Principal – where he founded and built the firm’s Corporate Development function, served on the Investment Committee, and sourced and closed acquisitions that added new capabilities and helped fuel the growth of KPMG’s business. Rather than advising on deals from the outside, he was the buyer – executing transactions across AI, cybersecurity, data analytics, enterprise applications, vertical technology, and management consulting. Prior to KPMG, he served as Managing Director of Corporate Development at BearingPoint, was a founding member of an international consulting firm, and served in the White House under President George H.W. Bush.

That firsthand experience evaluating and integrating many dozens of acquisitions gives Mr. Raymond a practitioner-level lens on what separates a strong company from one that merely looks good on paper – a perspective built over 25-plus years evaluating and acquiring AI, cybersecurity, advisory, and technology services businesses, and staying active in every acquisition from day one. His network spans the Big Four and large systems integrators, founders of boutique specialists, corporate development teams across the Global 1000, private equity and venture investors, and investment banks focused on technology and business services – relationships he now brings directly to IAGC’s clients preparing for a sale.
