Ground Control has been acquired by CLS

Ground Control has today announced it has been acquired by CLS.

Ground Control, based in the UK and the US, delivers satellite network-agnostic IoT and tracking solutions spanning devices, connectivity and software, serving approximately 2,000 enterprise and government customers globally.

CLS, based in France and owned by CNP and CNES, provides satellite-enabled Earth observation and monitoring solutions. The company reported revenue of €190m in 2024.

Ground Control brings to CLS its recognised expertise in designing rugged satellite communication terminals and strengthens CLS’s portfolio of web-based platforms with Cloudloop, an enhanced device and data management platform.
