ECI Partners exits its investment in CSL into a continuation fund

ECI Partners, a leading growth-focused mid-market private equity fund, has exited its investment in CSL, a mission critical IoT connectivity provider, into a continuation fund, led by existing ECI investors – Carlyle AlpInvest, HarbourVest Partners and Pantheon. The transaction represents a return of 3.5x since ECI’s initial investment in 2020.

Headquartered in Watford, England, CSL has grown c.20% every year of ECI’s investment, driven by expansion into new geographies and into sectors beyond its building, security and telehealth heritage. CSL now serves a broad set of verticals where always-on connectivity is essential.

CSL will continue its expansion strategy, including delivering on its M&A roadmap to enter new verticals, geographies or to acquire new technologies.
